At Dwight Snead Construction Company, Inc. (DSCC), a division of
Dwight Snead Landscaping and Paving Company, Inc., we believe that
excellence is the limitless capability to improve the quality of what
you already have. Subsequently, our corporate philosophy is to offer
our customers the assembled experience and know-how of the best
professionals in the heavy construction industry. Our collective
knowledge and industry skills have resulted in DSCC being recognized
as on of the leading, full-service minority-owned heavy construction
firms in the southeast. We stake our excellent reputation, not only on
the hundreds of satisfied customers we have served over the past 25
years but, most importantly, with our very last customer.
Corporate Overview and Management Profile
Overview
DSCC is a full service heavy construction firm that provides contract
services usually as a prime contractor in the areas of asphalt paving,
demolition, excavation, clearing and grubbing, underground utilities
and landscaping. Regardless of the project's complexity, size or
specifications, our personal service and ability to develop
cost-effective solutions allow us to successfully address the
customers' budget and time requirements.
As a licensed general contractor, DSCC provides heavy construction
services to the public and private sector's. Our customers include the
U.S. Department of Defense, the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Richmond
Redevelopment and Housing Authority, the City of Richmond, Henrico
County, Virginia Electric and Power Company, and many of the major
commercial and industrial firms throughout the region.
Personnel
The company's 55 employees have vast experience in the heavy
construction industry. Our personnel has enabled the firm to expand
into the area's most recognized and successful firm in the field, and
have created true partnerships with our customers. From management to
field crews, DSCC has the ability to respond swiftly, proficiently and
cost effectively to our customer's needs.
